Eugene Emo-Dezzi surprised the world of athletics last year when he ran 100 meters in 9.93 seconds. He thus became the fourth fastest ever sprinter in British history and qualified for the world championships. The runner’s story is inspiring, because he started competing at the age of 26, but the progress has been extremely rapid in five years. Athletics is not a priority for Emo-Dedzi, because he is an accountant – the world’s fastest accountant, who is preparing to participate in the Olympic Games in Paris this summer.
