Arriving at the scene, the rescuers found that the building, which had two-story administrative premises at one end, and production premises at the other end, was already burning with an open flame in its entire area.

At 8:38 a.m. the firefighters limited the spread of the flames – the first floor of the building burned 785 square meters, the second floor 200 square meters and the pallet placed near the building burned in an area of ​​15 square meters. The total burning area is 1000 square meters.

A forklift and production blank material were burning inside the building. Firefighters protected the hangar, which was five meters away, from the flames.

During the extinguishing work, a firefighter was injured and handed over to the staff of the Emergency Medical Service (EMS).

Currently, the work of extinguishing the fire and mixing the structures at the scene continues.

“Firmas.lv” information shows that the true beneficiaries of “Sakta” are Dzintra Kļaviņa and Larisa Kolesnikova. In 2022, the company had a turnover of 2,046,986 euros and worked with a profit of 16,964 euros.
