Porzingis: I work in the weight room, on movements. Progress is every day and I feel good

--

Porzingis injured his right calf muscle in Game 4 on April 29 and missed Game 5, in which Boston ended the streak with a 118-84 victory.

“I work in the weight room, on movements. Progress is being made every day and overall I feel good”.

Porzingis also recalled the moment of the injury.

“I twisted my left ankle in the previous attack on Tyler Hiro’s leg. Maybe I’m starting to compensate a bit with my right leg, I don’t know. Maybe it just happened. When I felt something was not right, you could see my reaction. But when we got the diagnosis, I calmed down. We realized that it is not as crazy as I thought at first,” Kristaps told journalists.

Porzingis suffered a similar injury to the calf muscle of his left leg in a match against the Orlando Magic at the end of November. Then Kristaps returned to the court after 14 days, helping the “Celtics” convincingly defeat Vienraj’s first NBA club, the New York “Knicks”.
