The fee for mobile internet will soon increase for the customers of the mobile operator “Tele2”. True, for those who have a tariff with a limited amount of mobile Internet data, it will increase even if the customer does not need it. For example, three gigabyte Internet users will now be able to use six gigabytes, paying 1.50 euros more. The fee for the use of the provided services, by supplementing them, will also increase for some of the customers of the technology company “Tet”. Consumer rights watchdogs indicate that whether the service provider is allowed to increase the price depends on several factors.

From June 1, all “Tele2” tariff plans, which currently have, for example, a limited amount of data, will have a significant increase in available data, Oskars Fīrmanis, head of public relations of “Tele2” in Latvia, tells “Delfi Bizness”. From next month, the standard fee for one connection will change on average within one and a half euros, however, it may also differ slightly for each customer, taking into account various factors. Fürmanis did not specify which ones.
