Before going to Eurovision, where Don will represent Latvia with the song “Hollow”, the musician met with supporters. Everyone had the opportunity to write their words of strength and wishes.
“I will follow, so that everything succeeds and I get in the top three,” promised Sanita.
“I wish him the best of luck and enjoy,” Mathis added.
“Good luck, he will make it to the finals,” Louise and Patricia looked hopefully at the success of the musician.
“May he be happy,” wished Malvina.
The musician said that the day before the flight, the most important thing is not to forget anything at home. The first rehearsal on the big stage is scheduled for Tuesday.
“The anxiety is still to come, it’s not going away. It’s going to get through, the main thing is to sing,” Don said. “Now there is a feeling that we will be in large numbers and represent Latvia together.”
Latvia’s song will be performed in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö on May 9. Like the first semi-final, it will also be broadcast by Latvian Television on May 7.
“What could I wish for? Enjoy the evening of the concert, call your friends in other countries and invite them to vote for the ninth round number and Latvia,” said Don before leaving.
The Eurovision final will take place on May 11, and we’ll keep our fingers crossed to hear Don’s performance there.
