In Kursor, we have described the problems of the electric car start-up Fisker quite extensively, while the company’s financial health is not improving, on the contrary – if Fisker fails to obtain additional financing, it is planned to file for bankruptcy within 30 days.

Fisker defaulted on an $8.4 million loan payment in March. The company is currently desperately trying to reduce various costs, continuing to reduce labor costs, as well as other expenses. All production of new machines has been temporarily suspended and negotiations to raise funding have failed.

To try to get additional finance, the company reduced the prices of its Ocean model by about 40%, trying to sell what it could sell to get financing. All this, of course, did not really go to the heart of those who bought their car at full price, because the value of their car fell off a cliff in one moment. Owners are worried about what will happen to car maintenance if the manufacturer goes bankrupt, besides, the machines have their own problems both with the software and also with more serious problems. Talking about the secondary market is actually pointless.
