The municipality of Ogre region announces a project tender for the implementation of remigration support measures “Be an employer in Ogre region!”

The municipality of Ogre region, with the support of the Vidzeme planning region and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development, announces project competition for entrepreneurs “Be an employer in Ogre county!” for implementing a business idea or creating new jobs in Ogre region.

The purpose of the competition is to provide support for the projects of companies and individuals of Ogre region, which will be implemented in Ogre region and as a result of which new products and services will be created or new jobs will be created for remigrants.

Residents who have returned from permanent living abroad to permanent residence in Ogre county and want to start a business in the county, as well as existing companies that want to employ a remigrant, are invited to apply for the competition.

The amount of co-financing is up to 5,000 euros, not exceeding 50% of the submitted project expenditure estimate. Funding is awarded in the form of a grant.

The following costs are defined as the eligible costs of the tender project application – the purchase of fixed assets and expenses for compensation (remuneration, including wages, and/or labor force taxes).

The achievable result of the business project is the development of new products and/or services on a regional scale.

The winners of the competition get the right to conclude an agreement with the municipality for receiving funding for the creation of a new company founded by a remigrant or for the creation of a workplace for a remigrant.

Applications can be submitted from May 10 to June 10, 2024.

The application can be submitted in one copy, in printed format or electronically, confirming it with a secure electronic signature, starting from the moment of publication of the regulations:

• in person at the Customer Service Center (KAC) of Ogre County Municipality at Brīvības Street 33, Ogre or at the State and Municipal Unified Customer Service Centers (VVPKAC) located in the administrative territory of Ogre County Municipality: Ikškilė, Peldu Street 22, Ķegumā, Lāčplēša Street 1, Lielvārde, Raina Street 11a , Birzgale, Lindes iela 2, Rembate, Lielvārdes iela 3, Tīnūži, “Kraujās”. • by sending it by mail to the municipality of Ogre region, – Brīvības iela 33, Ogre, LV-5001 (the date on the postage stamp must not be later than the application submission deadline).
