Information about the repair works in Daugavpils streets scheduled for May

Street repair works continue in Daugavpils: repairing potholes with hot asphalt, repairing sidewalks, applying horizontal markings with special paint, reconstruction and construction of paving stones, etc. The list of places where repairs are planned for the period until the end of May has been approved.

Emergency potholes are a priority, including in places where repairs were made with cold asphalt during the winter period, transit roads, near municipal institutions (schools, kindergartens, etc.), passenger transport routes and roads with high traffic intensity.

Repair of potholes with hot asphalt will be carried out:

15A on Brick Street;
on the circle in Kieģeļu street;
on Daugavas street from the circle (at the intersection with Cietokšņa street) to the bridge;
Daugavas street (towards the dam);
on the P67 highway (from the intersection with Daugavas iela to the intersection with Egļi iela);
on Daugavas street (from Daugavas street 60 to Ventas street);
at the intersection of November and Ventspils streets;
next to Valkas iela 2;
on Valkas street (behind the railway crossing);
next to Valņu iela 23;
At the intersection of Malu and 2. zamen streets;
next to Aptiekas iela 40;
next to 18 November street 372 (in the parking lot);
Strādnieku Street 103 (next to the “Maxima” store);
Valkas Street (next to the “Maxima” store);
Gaismas Street (near the kindergarten);
next to Valkas Street 2A;
next to Valkas Street 2K;
next to 195 18 November Street;
on Novembra Street (in the parking lot near the Center for Lung Diseases and Tuberculosis);
next to 45 Arodu Street;
At the intersection of Bauskas and Kauņas streets.

Pavement repair will be carried out:

Stacija street (near DUS “Ingrida”);
next to Stacias iela 109 and 111;
on Stacijas iela (behind the bus stop “Stacijas iela”);
next to Bauskas iela 101;
on Tukuma street (from Liela Dārza to Tukuma street 11);
next to 89 Liela Dārza Street;
next to Smilšu iela 94;
Puškina street (from Liepājas street to the stairs);
on Raina Street (next to Vienības Street 4);
at the intersection of Raina and Alejas streets;
Raina street (opposite the 3rd secondary school);
Alejas Street (on the opposite side).

Horizontal marking with special paint will be applied:

next to Telts iela 1 and 2 (in the parking lot);
next to Tartu Street 10 (in the parking lot);
next to Piekraste Street 33 and 35 (on the basketball court).

Reconstruction/construction of paving stones will be carried out:

Gaismas Street (reconstruction of the cobblestone pavement of the bus stop platform opposite the kindergarten);
On the Esplanade (construction of a cobblestone square).
