You will have the opportunity to test your ingenuity in the orientation game “Find, explore, understand”. During the night of the museum, you will also be able to see the museum expositions.

At the Adolf Alunāns Memorial Museum, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., visitors will be invited to explore the theater and improve the skills needed for the stage. “Adolfs Alunāns in the article “A word about theater” asks: what exactly is a theater? He himself also answers, comparing the theater to a mirror in which each of us can see ourselves. During the night of museums, visitors will be invited to answer the same question by participating in various activities throughout the day,” says museum manager Elīna Skutele. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., visitors are invited to get to know the theater and the museum as individuals or in groups – go on a tour, answer interesting questions about the theater, speak the monologues of the father of the theater and try to bring the characters of the performances into the modern world. On the other hand, from 14:00 to 16:00 everyone will have the opportunity to both listen to and sing along to a theater song in the afternoon, where songs from favorite shows will be played for both children and adults. After singing together from 16:00 to 17:00, visitors will be able to return to the tasks of the first half of the day. But from 17:00 to 21:00, museum guests are invited to get to know the theater in various activities related to the stage – speech exercises, a creative paper puppet workshop, as well as a theater quiz.
