Saturday, May 11, from At 11.00 a.m., the Mother’s Day festival organized by the parents’ organization “Mammamuntetiem.lv” will take place on the Hansa platform in Riga.
It will be a real day of pampering for moms, and the event and activities are free.
The Mother’s Day Festival is created to say thank you to moms while waiting for Mother’s Day and make a holiday especially for them.
The program is rich and designed to be pleasant, joyful and exciting for mothers of different ages, so we invite you to attend the event together with your friends, your mother, mother-in-law or other mothers you love.
Stage program
- The singer Ieva Kerēvicas and the ensemble of actors of the Daile Theater “Ilga” – Lauris Subatnieks, Gundars Silakaktiņš and Aldis Siliņš (in the picture) will perform sweet and also jester musical performances. A special welcome was also arranged for the participants of the festival by the folk dance ensemble “Dancis” of the University of Latvia, well-known in Latvia.
- Not only a concert is expected, but also a meeting of mothers! Well-known moms and specialists will discuss the myths of what a good, cool mom should be; every visitor will be able to participate in the conversation.
- At the end – prize drawing on the “Big Wheel of Fortune”. The total value of the prize fund exceeds 2000 EUR.
- The stage program will be led by actor Lauris Subatnieks and the head of parents’ organization “Mammamuntetiem.lv” Inga Akmentiņa-Smildziņa.
