The top of the most visited websites published by the Internet technology and research company Gemius shows that in April, both in terms of visits from all platforms together and from computers, the five most visited websites kept their positions unchanged. Numerically, the most significant increase in the audience from all platforms can be seen for the portal apollo.lv, while from mobile devices, the largest increase in the number of users can be observed for the portal grani.lv.

In April, the top five of the overall statistical top has remained unchanged – the top of the top is the news portal delfi.lv with 812,000 Real Users, which is 1,000 users more than in March. The decrease in audience by 9,000 is noticeable for tv3.lv – 599,000 Real Users, while the portal jauns.lv returns to the top five and is also closed with 579,000 Real Users, which is 6,000 users less than a month ago.

Among mobile devices, the largest increase in audience, by 31,000 users, can be observed for the portal grani.lv, reaching 179,000 Real Users. Numerically, the most significant increases in audience both from all devices combined and from mobile devices are also noticeable for the websites salidzini.lv and apollo.lv. The news portal apollo.lv was visited by a total of 526,000 Real Users from all devices in April, which is 33,000 more than in March, but the audience from mobile devices increased by 30,000 users – 487,000 Real Users. The audience of Salidzini.lv from all devices has increased by 30,000, reaching 306,000 Real Users, while the site has been visited by 22,000 more users from mobile devices, reaching 189,000 Real Users.

The meteofor.lv portal, previously known as gismeteo.lv, experienced the biggest drop in audience in April, reaching a total of 60,000 fewer users from all devices – 211,000 Real Users, while the audience from mobile devices has decreased by 28,000 users to 159,000. A drop in audience is observed for the majority of websites visiting from computers. While the first five kept their positions unchanged, the first place is taken by Google with 1,007,000 Real Users, which is 22,000 users less than in March. It is followed by youtube.com with 654,000 Real Users – the number of users decreased by 47,000, while a 29,000 decrease in the number of users, reaching 582,000 Real Users, can be observed for the social networking site facebook.lv, placing it in third place. Domestic inbox.lv reached 12,000 fewer users in April – 537,000 Real Users, occupying the fourth place, while the number of users of the swedbank.lv website decreased by 35,000, reaching 441,000 Real Users, thereby closing the top five.

The website of the State Revenue Service vid.gov.lv shows the same trend every year in the spring – in March, in connection with the submission of annual income declarations, the audience increases significantly, but in the month of April it rapidly decreases again. This year is no exception. The website vid.gov.lv experienced the biggest drop in audience in April (by 201,000 users), with the number of Real Users falling to 228,000. The leading position among media groups continues to be maintained by the TVNET group with the websites tvnet.lv (including receptes.lv), spoki.lv and apollo.lv, as well as statistics on tvnet.lv, apollo.lv and rus.tvnet.lv applications visited by 872,000 Real Users, or 58 percent of Latvian Internet users, which is 10,000 users more than in March. With a large increase in the number of users by 2,000, it is followed by the DELFI media group, which with the websites delfi.lv, incl., calis.lv, the website bilesuparadize.lv, Delfi TV, as well as the mobile application, has reached 858,000 Real Users, or 57 percent of Latvia internet users. Numerically, the largest audience drop, by 49,000 users, can be observed for the Inbox media group with the websites inbox.lv, pp.lv, xtv.lv, klab.lv, as well as the inbox.lv mobile application, reaching 802,000 Real Users, or 53 percent of the Latvian Internet user.

The fourth place, with the largest numerical increase in the audience, is occupied by the la.lv/ TV24 group with the websites la.lv, grani.lv, as well as lrtv.lv and tv24.lv, reaching 673,000 Real Users, or 44 percent of Latvian Internet users, which is by 12,000 users more than a month earlier. The top five is rounded off by the TV3 media group, which covers data on tv3.lv, toradio.lv, play.tv3.lv video, topradio.lv and starfm.lv streaming, as well as the tv3play.lv application, which has reached 8,000 less in the month of April users, making up 643,000 Real Users, or 43 percent of Latvian Internet users.
