The exotic Cuban jazz singer Daime Aroken will perform at the festival with a bright and unforgettable concert program (Dayme Arocena) and rhythm virtuoso, Grammy award winner Jaroldi Aubrey Robles (Yaroldy Abreu Robles). An ambitious concert will be experienced Sinfonietta Riga together with the brilliant and revolutionary pianist Georgi Osokina. The collective’s latest concert program Infinity beads consists of new works by eight Latvian composers of different generations with brightly imaginative texts created by Nora Ikstenas, which sing about the eight planets of the solar system. New works for the Latvian Radio Choir have been created by such composers as Arturs Maskats, Santa Ratniece, Anna Fišere, Mārtiņš Viļums, Platons Buravickis, Ēriks Ešenvalds, Juris Karlsons and Andris Dzenītis.

The next concert of the festival invites you to go to the Spīķeru concert hall on June 8 to enjoy Jazz evening with Matīsa Žilinski. When the young pianist and composer plays with his experienced colleagues – double bass player Andri Grunti and drummer Arti Oruba – we will be able to immerse ourselves in the memories of childhood smells and tastes, feelings and adventures.

The colorful duo – violinist Darja Smirnova and pianist Roksana Tarvide – at the Spīķeru concert hall on June 13th invites you to indulge in the charm of France and dream of summer in such a seductive land – iconic Paris and the lazy Riviera, the Burgundy countryside and the far reaches of the English Channel, turning the pages of exquisite works by Claude Debussy, César Franck and Lille together. Dramatic and emotionally stripped-down, symphonic scores filled with light romance and soaring hopes will be heard on the evening of June 15, when the passionately versatile chamber orchestra will meet on the stage of the Dzintari Concert Hall Sinfonietta Riga and pianist Georgy Osokin, who is loved by critics and the public, as well as the conductor of the celebrated Polish Radio Chamber Orchestra Amadeus, Anna Dučmala-Mroza. In their reading, we will experience the Fourth Piano Concerto and the Fourth Symphony of the Viennese classicist Ludwig van Beethoven, as well as contemporary authority Pēteras Vaskas Musica passionata.
