The turnover of JSC “Ventspils Grain Terminal” last year was 7.933 million euros, which is 53% more than the year before, but the company’s profit decreased by 9.6% and was 137,434 euros, according to “Firmas.lv” information.
The management report of the company’s annual report indicates that last year the company managed to maintain a fairly stable cargo flow and attract new transit cargoes, which ensured the maximum possible cargo turnover in the difficult conditions caused by global changes in the world economy and unfavorable trends in the transit industry.
Also, last year the company continued the optimization of commercial activities, which allowed to improve the range and quality of the services provided.
The board of “Ventspils Grain Terminal” offers to leave the company’s profit undistributed, the report states.
In 2022, “Ventspils Grain Terminal” worked with a turnover of 5.185 million euros and a profit of 152,083 euros.
The company was registered in 2001, and its share capital is 8.55 million euros. The company is owned by Kazakhstan-registered SIA “Aic-invest” (91.53%), Vladislav Šafranski (3.79%), Oļeg Nudga (2.34%) and Natalia Jakimoviča (2.34%).
