The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the exercises, but the former president of the great power and Vladimir Putin’s right-hand man, or Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, could not sit quietly either.

He warns that Western politicians who are considering sending their troops to Ukraine are “provoking nuclear strikes on the capitals of their countries.” And Western leaders have already “cynically” handed over missiles to Ukraine, which are allowed to be used against targets on Russian territory.

In the eyes of Russian leaders, these are pretty good reasons to potentially start a nuclear war.

“Sending your troops to the territory of the former Ukraine (the territory of modern Ukraine, which Russia does not recognize – author’s note) will mean direct involvement of their countries in the war, for which they will have to answer. And unfortunately, not on the territory of the former Ukraine. In that case, none of them will be able to hide either in the Capitol, or in the Elysee Palace, or in 10 Downing Street. A global catastrophe will begin. By the way, Kennedy and Khrushchev were able to prevent this more than 60 years ago. However, the current infantile morons who are in power in the West cannot understand this,” Medvedev said in his characteristic manner.

Who are these “irresponsible scoundrels” on the Russian “blacklist”? “Now [šajā sarakstā] are the representatives of the US Congress, the French and British governments, individual dissidents from the Baltic states and Poland,” revealed the right hand of the Kremlin.

Ukraine is asking for arms supplies, not Western soldiers

It should be noted that none of the Western allies have yet made a clear decision about sending their troops to Ukraine, including French President Emmanuel Macron, who initiated this discussion.

Ukraine, although it believes that Western soldiers could help drive out the occupiers, keeps in mind the potential risks, so it does not invite its allies to send their soldiers to the war-torn country. Instead, Ukraine continues to ask for more arms supplies, including air defense systems.

At the same time, if the West itself decides in favor of deploying its forces in Ukraine, “we will be very grateful and happy,” said Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmihals.
