Don charms the media at the opening ceremony of the Eurovision Song Contest – Culture, art

On Sunday, May 5, singer Don took part in the opening ceremony of the Eurovision Song Contest, which took place in the Malmo concert hall. On Thursday, May 9, Don will represent Latvia at the 68th international Eurovision Song Contest.

Kaspars Blūms-Blūmanis, the stylist of the Latvian delegation, commented on the outfit chosen by the singer: “During the development of Don’s Eurovision outfit, the blue color of the video of the song “Hollow” was chosen as a unifying concept guideline, which permeates all the singer’s outfits and costumes. The royal blue color radiates confidence, symbolizes trust, inner peace and freedom, which is the main direction we want to go. The turquoise blue carpet dress was made of double silk, we kept minimalism, specific shapes and elegance in the cuts. Don’s outfit stood out perfectly and was appreciated by both the media and other contestants.”

The artist himself, Don, spoke positively about the opening ceremony: “This was a good opportunity to give interviews to Europe’s biggest media and show myself from the best side, which I think was successfully done. Thank you to everyone who keeps their fingers crossed in Latvia and I invite you to do everything in our power on Thursday so that Latvia reaches the grand final!”

On February 10, singer Don became the winner of Latvian Television’s song contest “Supernova 2024” live with the song “Hollow”, getting the opportunity to represent Latvia at the 68th international Eurovision Song Contest. The musician will perform in the second semi-final on May 9, where Malta, Albania, Greece, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Austria, Armenia, San Marino, Georgia, Belgium, Estonia, Israel, Norway and the Netherlands will also participate. The first semi-final of Eurovision will be held on May 7, the final – on May 11.
