The European exam is held online on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. As the representatives of the association “European Movement in Latvia” inform, participation in the European exam on May 7, 8, 9 has been one of the most ambitious traditions of Europe Day for 10 years now. This year, participation in the European exam is particularly significant, as we celebrate Latvia’s twentieth year in the European Union. Just as our benefits from Latvia’s membership in the European Union are diverse, the questions of the European exam are also varied – sports, culture, nature, inventions, important events, personalities, etc. topics are included in the online test, applying them to different age groups.

The opportunity to learn something new, test existing knowledge, spend time knowingly and meaningfully, challenge yourself, set an example for others – these are just some of the reasons mentioned by the participants of the European exam from previous years, which every year make them want to participate and feel the spirit of the competition. And why not – each participant receives a Certificate with the number of points obtained, the best – prizes.

We know that more than 300 Latvian educational institutions will participate in the European exam, but we encourage companies, institutions, non-governmental organizations to be active as well – the five most active of them will also be awarded. Equally important is the participation of every citizen and family in the European exam, proving their belonging to Latvia and the European Union, the organizers from the association “European Movement in Latvia” emphasize.
