In the next 24 hours, the weather conditions in Latvia will worsen – the air will become colder and rain is expected in many places, predicts the Center of Environment, Geology and Meteorology of Latvia (LVĜMC).
On the night of Monday, the clouds will bring short-term rain in many places, it will rain heavily in the west, and thunderstorms are also possible. A slow to moderate east, northeast wind will blow, and the air will cool down to +4…+9 degrees, it will be warmer in the southwestern regions – up to +12 degrees.
At night in Riga, the sky will be cloudy, sometimes it will clear, sometimes it will rain. A slow to moderate east, northeast wind will blow, and the air temperature will drop to +7…+9 degrees.
On Monday, the clouds will not disperse, but it will clear up in places in the north of Latvia. It will rain for a long time in many places, local thunderstorms are possible. Slow to moderate easterly, northeasterly winds will remain. The air will only warm up to +7…+12 degrees.
The sky will also be overcast over Riga on the moved holiday, and it will rain for a long time. A slow to moderate east, northeast wind will blow, and the air temperature will remain within +7…+9 degrees, LVĜMC predicts.
