The international passenger carrier “Lux Express” opened commercial passenger transportation on the Liepāja-Rīga route today, LETA agency was informed by representatives of “Lux Express”.
Buses from Liepaja to Riga will run at 6 am, 7 am, 8.30 am, 11.30 am, 1.30 pm, 4 pm, 5.30 pm and only on Fridays and Sundays at 7 pm. On the other hand, buses from Riga to Liepāja will run at 7 am, 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 4 pm, 5.40 pm, 7 pm and only on Fridays and Sundays at 2.30 pm.
On the other hand, from tomorrow “Lux Express” will provide one trip a day from Liepāja to Daugavpils and back, it will leave Liepāja at 7 a.m., stop in Riga and continue its journey from Riga at 10.30 a.m. The bus from Daugavpils to Liepāja will leave at 3:25 p.m. and arrive in Liepāja at 10:20 p.m.
Company representatives previously informed that all flights on the Riga-Liepāja and Liepāja-Daugavpils routes will be made with “Scania Irizar i6S Efficient” buses manufactured in 2023.
Also, from today JSC “Liepājas busu parks” will start commercial flights on the Riga-Liepāja route. Thus, in addition to the 16 flights per day provided by the state, “Liepāja busu parkas” will also provide 11 commercial flights.
