On April 27, cleaning was also held in the territory of Talsi animal shelter “Ausma”, where a group of young people from Jaunsardze arrived, so there was no shortage of workers in general.
There was both raking and wood stacking, which went hand in hand as the wood was fed forward in a chain. The young woman Emilija Freiman says that she joined Jaunsargos relatively recently and that she is happy to work directly in the territory of the shelter, because she loves animals very much. She has also seen a puppy, which she likes best.
The manager of the shelter, Oskars Meller, expresses his joy at the responsiveness of the young guards, because it would be very difficult to gather such a group of young people together. During the cleaning, of course, there was also a noisy “concert” of dogs, where one started barking, and the others responded, and so on every now and then. The cleaners decided that surely every animal, seeing such a group of people, calls to take him home. And it can still be done. Let everyone have their own home!
