Although yesterday the State Police (VP) informed that there was one traffic accident during the event, involving a cyclist who ran into a car driving in front, more attention was paid to the explanation of the relationship between a cyclist and a policeman on social networks.
The video posted on the social media platform “X” shows how a cyclist rides in front of a State Police officer who was riding a motorcycle along the separating lane, thus controlling the cyclists so that they do not drive in the opposite direction.
As can be seen below, a chase ensued on the part of the police officer, asking the cyclist to stop and to obey the CSN.
LA.LV has contacted representatives of the State Police to find out their comment on the incident.
Meanwhile, people in the social network “X” have divided into two fronts. The defenders of the cyclist are shocked by the behavior of the police officer, especially driving and chasing the cyclist on the pedestrian sidewalk, while quite a few people take the side of the police officer, strongly criticizing the bike ride that took place yesterday.
