Saturday, May 4, at 16.00 in the concert hall of Daugavpils Vienības House (Rīgas street 22a) the holiday concert “Give me strength” will take place.
The creative collectives of the Latvian and Latgalian cultural center of the Daugavpils municipal institution “Vienības nams” will take part in the concert: “Daugavpils Sinfonietta” orchestra (chief conductor Renats Cvechkovskis), professional brass band “Daugava” (chief conductor Arnold Greenbert), women’s choir “Ruth” (conductor Maruta Veličko), men’s choir “Forte” (conductor Artūrs Saveljevs), mixed choir “Daugava” (conductor Alina Lapinska), dance ensemble “Laismeņa” (manager Diāna Soldāne), middle generation dance collective “Laismeņa” (manager Diāna Soldāne) and senior dance group “Atbalss” (leader Dāvis Grelevskis). Concert soloists: Arnis Slobožanin, Katažina Dudareva, Julia Rosovska and Anna Kazarinova, dirrigants: Renats Cvechkovskis, Arnolds Greenbert, Alina Lapinski, Artūrs Savelyevs, Maruta Veličko. Artistic director and conductor of the concert – Yevgenijs Ustinskovs.

The organizers of the concert invite: “This year, our Latvia celebrates the 34th anniversary of the restoration of its independence. On this day, we invite you to agree to be together at the concert “GIVE ME STRENGTH“, in which Latvian folk songs, popular music and the most beautiful stage dances will be performed by choirs and dance groups of the Vienības nama Latvian and Latvian Culture Center. On the other hand, instrumental pieces and accompaniments for choirs and dancers will be performed by the center’s orchestra.
