On stage in Gulbene – young actors – Gulbene district – Dzirkstele.lv

On April 25, the big stage of the Gulbene district cultural center belonged to the members of school theater groups, who showed the performance of the school year – prepared theater performances.

Four theater groups took part in the theater day and the audience had the opportunity to see four performances: I. Šteinberg’s “Who lays eggs on Easter?” – Theater group performance of 5th and 6th grade students of Stāķi elementary school (director Sanita Dreimane), I. Šteinberg’s “Gotiņa Parastā” – Theater group performance of Sveķi elementary school (directors Velga Janoviča, Sanita Pavārniece-Pliskava), E. Blytone “Pauks and Shmauks ” – performance of the 1st to 6th grade theater group of Gulbene regional high school, A. Starobiņec’s “Wolf’s Lair” – performance of the 7th to 12th grade theater group of Gulbene regional high school (director Inga Anča).

The performances were evaluated by the directors Ilvita Kļaviņa, Ineta Krastiņa and Dace Kablukova, head of the Gulbene District Education Board.

“Each performance was special, with its own charm, we made sure that the students enjoy playing theater and consider the message from the stage, the interaction between them, and the contact with the audience to be important. The group members listened to the jury’s recommendations and comments with interest,” says Maija Skopāne, education methodologist of the Board of Education.

The members of the Stāķi elementary school group received thanks for a successful choice of repertoire, emphasizing the importance of traditions in the education of modern society. To the Svekai elementary school group – thanks for a good performance in the artistic realization of the play and excellent work with the actors, to the 1st to 6th grade group of Gulbene district – thanks for successful solutions to the mock episodes and dynamic course of the show, to the 7th to 12th grade group – thanks for a successful solution in creating the overall image of the show.
