Extended traffic restrictions on Slokas Street – Traffic and restrictions

As the tram tracks, underground communications, as well as other infrastructure reconstruction works continue, from May 1 to May 17, vehicle traffic will be restricted in the section of Slokas Street from Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street to Mārtiņa Street.

During the mentioned time period, traffic will be closed on Slokas Street (in the direction of Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street) from Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street to Mārtiņa Street.

The mentioned traffic restrictions on Slokas Street will also be valid from May 20 to June 1.

Also, from May 1 to May 17 and from May 20 to June 1, vehicle traffic will be restricted at the intersection of Slokas Street and Kalnciema Street.

Those responsible for the work are instructed to ensure the placement of road signs, the approach of vehicles to the residence or business of residents and businesses located on the mentioned street, operational transport traffic, as well as public transport traffic, the creation of temporary stops and placing information about the closure of the stop at the closed stops, as also an indication of the location of the nearest stop.
