On May 1, there will be changes in the movement of public transport in Riga

On Wednesday, May 1, public transport will run according to the holiday schedule. Parking lots managed by “Rīgas satiksme” can be used free of charge. However, customer service centers will be closed.

On May 1, buses, trolleybuses and trams will run according to the holiday schedule.

Parking lots

The paid parking lots of the Riga municipality, served by “Rīgas satiksme”, can be used for free on May 1, except for the underground parking lot on K. Valdemāra Street 5a near the Congress House – there you will have to pay according to the applicable tariffs.

Also, from May 1, parking lots in Vecāki (zone V) will start operating. Their working hours will be every day from 8.00 a.m. to 20.00, except holidays. Therefore, it is also possible to use parking spaces in zone V for free on May 1.

Customer service centers

On the day before Christmas, April 30, the working hours of the customer service centers at Prāgas Street 1, Kurzemes Prospect 137, Brīvības Gatve 384B and Spīķeru Street 1 will be from 9.00 a.m. to 18.00 The working hours of the customer service center at Brīvības street 49/53 will be from 8.00 a.m. to 16.00, while the working hours of the Riga Support Center for Ukrainian residents will be from 09.00 to 15.00

All customer service centers will be closed on Wednesday, May 1.

The customer service center at Spīķeru Street 1 will be closed from May 1, the nearest customer service center is located at 1 Prāgas Street.
