The group “Kautkaili” announces the concert “Palladium” and publishes a new video

Kristīne Pāže, the group’s soloist and songwriter, says: “It was extremely exciting to meet the audience and experience sold-out concerts of our debut album “Personal Code” in Riga, Līgatne and Liepāja. People’s response inspired us to the idea of ​​a bigger event – in the “Palladium” concert hall.”

This will be the most ambitious “Kautkaili” concert so far, to which both those who have already gotten to know the band’s musical “personal code” and those who are always looking for new and deep impressions are invited.

In November of last year, the group released their debut album “Personas kodos”, which won a “Golden Microphone” nomination in the “Pop album of the year” category. Along with the announcement of the concert, the group presents to its listeners the video of the album’s title song “Personal Code”, which uses materials from both “Kautkaili” rehearsals, concerts and backstage, as well as from the recording sessions of the album made last year. The video footage was recorded by group member Krists Kruskops and group friends Anastasija Petuhova and Artūrs Rudavs.

“We wanted to tell the story of “Persona koda” through visual moments experienced at a live concert and behind the scenes, thereby enhancing the lyrical thought of the song. The song tells about the aspects of the personality inherited and acquired in life, the coded behavioral traits that make each of us a unique carrier of our personal code.”

“Kautkaili” is made up of musicians Kristīne Pāže, Didzis Bardo and Krists Kruskops. The group’s music fuses the Latvian alternative pop music of the 90s and worldly soul music, but its diamond is the singer and songwriter Kristīne, whose velvety voice and intelligent melodies lead to an as yet unknown world of feelings.

The song “Let me” which was released in the fall of 2023 has conquered the airwaves of Latvian radio stations, won the “Songs of the Year” nomination of “Zelta mikrofons” and won the 7th place in the audience vote of the “Music Bank” which took place at the beginning of this year.
