The annual Construction Day conference of the show “The best building of the year in Latvia 2023” will take place on April 25 : building.lv

At the annual Construction Day conference of the “Best Construction of the Year in Latvia 2023” on April 25 this year, along with expert presentations, there will be master classes and a discussion on current affairs in the industry.

The show “The best building of the year in Latvia”, organized by the Association of Latvian Builders and the Latvian Building Engineers Union in cooperation with 23 professional associations and industry institutions, is being held for the 26th time this year.

Annual The Construction Day conference “How to build better. How better not to build” will be held in person and live on the Internet on April 25 from Riga Civil Engineering College.

At the conference – both information on current trends in the industry and presentations on how to use the city’s green space more efficiently, sustainable materials selection, technologies and practical examples of their correct application will be provided by industry practitioners and professionals. After the presentations, there will be a discussion of industry participants, where the current and expected situation in the industry will be discussed.

This year, on Construction Day, there is a novelty – the conference will be complemented by practical master classes. On this day, Riga College of Construction will be open to industry professionals to meet colleagues and future builders – students – who will soon become colleagues in constructions, to increase their knowledge of how to build better, about new technologies, materials and their best use, as well as to learn from the mistakes of others, how better not to build.

Certified construction specialists will be able to receive certificates for participation in the conference, which must be submitted to the certification body for receiving professional qualification points.

“The best building of the year in Latvia 2023” view is organized by the Association of Latvian Builders and the Union of Latvian Construction Engineers in cooperation with 16 non-governmental organizations of the construction sector, the State Construction Control Office, VAS “Valsts nekustamie espasumi”, the Union of Latvian Municipalities, Riga Technical University, Latvian University of Biosciences and Technologies, Riga College of Civil Engineering and RISEBA FAD.
