Also, the Cabinet of Ministers’ letter of appreciation was approved to SIA “Veselības centrs 4” certified surgeon, wound specialist Aleksandra Kušpelo for her contribution to the treatment of long-term non-healing wounds, creating an opportunity for patients to return to a full and high-quality life, Lilita Caune, head of drug treatment at VSIA “Ęintermuiža” for her contribution to solving addiction problems and prevention, as well as in the education of young people, to Iveta Ķiece, head of the Psychiatric Assistance Service of VSIA “Rīgas Psychiatry and Narcology Center”, for her professional and selfless work in the rehabilitation of patients and the development of the health field.

The awarding of the Letter of Appreciation by the Cabinet of Ministers has been approved to the professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Latvia (LU) and the head of the Center for Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutritional Therapy of VSIA “Paula Stradins Clinical University Hospital” Aldi Puķitis for his selfless work in the treatment of patients and the development of examination methods, as well as in the training of new specialists, SIA “Rīgas 1.slimnīca” ophthalmologist Māra Brieda for her contribution to the development of the field of ophthalmology in Latvia, to Ingūna Liepa, chairman of the board of SIA “Cēsu klinikina”, for her contribution to the modernization and development of treatment processes.

With the Letter of Appreciation of the Cabinet of Ministers, the director of care of SIA “Rīgas Austrumu klinikani universitesi slimnīca” Inesi Budzila will be honored for her contribution to the development of the health care system and the training of young specialists, the education methodologist and teacher of the Riga State Technical College Daci Rozenblati for her contribution to the development of the professional education system, the leader of the Institute of Organic Synthesis of Latvia researcher Dr. Raivi Žalubovski for his contribution to the development of scientific excellence, educating young researchers and popularizing science in society.
