Brigita pays her and her 38-year-old son’s phone bill. The amount changed regularly, allegedly influenced by the son’s internet usage habits. The 71-year-old pensioner decided to change telecommunications operator, which resulted in an impressive bill.

I thought I would change the operator. We wrote all the papers at “Tele2” that the numbers and internet were transferred to them, then “Bite” sent an invoice of 103 euros. Until now, there was never such a big bill. I have previously paid 60, 70 euros, but not 103 euros. It’s about two phones and internet.

The pensioner went to the “Bites” store in Valmiera, where the employees were still unable to explain to the woman why the bill was so high.

They printed out the bill, looked at it. Said that was the bill and that was it. Couldn’t explain anything more. They have been working there for years, but they couldn’t tell why the bill was so big.

The woman is confused about the huge bill and has asked an acquaintance to go to the “Bites” store again, now in another city, but even then they did not get any clarification, so she turned to “Bez Tabu” for help.

“Bite” states that Brigita broke the contract before the deadline.

When the customer signed a contract with us, she was given a discount for a certain period of time. According to the terms of the contract, if the contract is terminated before the end of the discount period, the remaining amount of the discount must be refunded. It was billed. In fact, she didn’t have to pay the balance of the discount, it was a system error. We apologized to her, told her about the problem in the call.

After “Bez Tabu” got involved, the bill of 103 euros was revised, and now the pensioner has to pay only 51 euros.
