Russia does not stop shelling Ukrainian energy facilities

The march in Riga supports the Palestinians
A march in support of the Palestinians took place in Riga on Saturday. About 100 people gathered in the march, most of them young people.
Before the march, the participants gave speeches in which they expressed support for the Palestinians for about an hour.
The organizers planned the participation of around 200 people. The police of the Riga municipality counted 120. The police informed that the event passed without significant incidents.

The Great Cleanup was held in Latvia
On Saturday, the Great Cleanup was held for the 17th time in all of Latvia. The environment was cleaned and improved.
In Riga, the central cleaning place was Zaķusala. In Riga and Ogre region, the participants of the clean-up also arranged basements so that they could be used as shelters in emergency situations, in Jelgava clean-up cleared the bed of the Driksna river from dredges.
This year, the motto of the Great Cleanup was “clean-green-long”.
Cleanup organizers inform that at least 1149 cleanup areas were cleaned on Saturday.
The hockey team loses to Switzerland
The Latvian men’s hockey team lost the second of two test matches against the Swiss national team on Saturday with the result 0:4.
