Georges Siksna & Elsa Rosenthal // DISKOPAULS

On May 11, the culture house Wiktorija invites you to meet again in a fun and festive music evening – “DISKOPAULS”. The concert will take place in the aesthetics of television music programs of the 80s, paying tribute to the pop music of Raymond Paul.
The concert will feature the most legendary and popular Maestro songs such as “Genoveva”, “Robot”, “Rainbow”, “Fool’s Heart”, “Lantern Hour”, as well as other wonderful melodies from the genius record “Night Bird” and other albums of the composer.

Elsa Rozentāle, Miķelis Putniņs, Toms Mikāls, Kristians Priekuls, Rudolfs Dankfeld and the evening’s special guest Georges Siksna will perform song arrangements and concerts.
While the artists are getting ready, the event’s visitors have time to let go of their facial beards, put in perms, re-stitch their hair, find dresses with sequins, polish platforms and mirror balls, in short, get into a time machine and go back to the brilliant eighties.

The floor concert will take place in two parts,
start at 22:00 (entrance to the event from 20:00).
Before and after the concert – in the dance section “Aldis Ermanbriks”,
with world and domestic disco classics from records.
