With the start of Eurovision, “DAGAMBA” releases a music video dedicated to the group “ABBA”.

The arrangement of the song “Waterloo” is made in the usual “DAGAMBA” manner, in which a pop music song is dressed in rock music sounds with elements of classical music. The most loyal listeners will be surprised by this piece with its unusual positive and bright sound.

The music video clip was made in cooperation with Ritvaras Blukas and depicts the fantasy of the group’s musicians about the processes of creating and recording compositions in the 70s and 80s. It is a story about freedom, relaxed atmosphere, bohemianism, fun and passion in music.

The members of the group themselves think that this was one of the most exciting and pleasant filming processes, and at the same time – the most unusual.

The author of the arrangement, Valters Puce, says: “This is a tribute to the group ABBA, which started its phenomenal music career 50 years ago by winning Eurovision, which has influenced many generations. Musically, we drew parallels with another great spirit – Mozart, because both artists of different eras seemed related in their musical ease and number of hits. This is definitely one of the brightest and most major compositions of the group DAGAMBA.”

Operator Ritvars Bluka laughs: “I met the group in the church, as a proper group should! But I can say that this is a perfect place for a record. In the process of creating the clip, I was influenced by the photos of Anton Corbin and other bright photographers of the seventies. The effects of decadence can be felt in the video.”

“DAGAMBA” has just returned from a concert tour in Estonia and is already preparing to go to Hamburg, where they will delight the audience with three whole concerts at the world’s biggest port festival. In May, the group is also scheduled to perform at the Polish festival “Probaltica”, as well as several concerts in Latvia. In June, “DAGAMBA” will go on a month-long concert tour in China!

“We keep our fingers crossed for Don and wish him all the best in the big Eurovision!”, the musicians conclude their message.
