The movie Affected by speed is the story of Mārtiņš Seskas, a young rally driver’s determination to follow a path little known in Latvia – to win, fall and rise again in order to enter the elite of the European Rally Championship. Mārtiņš’s motorsport career is already ten years old, and this season promises to be powerful.
The documentary premiered at the end of March and is already available for viewing LMT on Smart TV and on the Internet. The author of the film, Sandys Semyonov, admits that he is fascinated by the opportunity to reach the speed limit in the rally, which is both a technical, physical and mental challenge. Therefore, this film is intended for a wide audience, and perhaps Mārtiņš’s experience will inspire young people to try their chances of competing in technical sports.
The visitors of the premiere admit to Paul that they are convinced – this is only the first episode in the story of Mārtiņas Seskas and, in a sense, also about the harsh side of motorsport.
