In the evening of Monday, April 29, temporary rain and thunderstorms are expected in places in the western and central regions, the Latvian Center for Environment, Geology and Meteorology predicts.

The center says that on Monday night the sky over Latvia will be partially covered with clouds and no precipitation is expected, however, the amount of clouds will start to increase in the morning. A slow south-east, east wind will blow, and fog, haze will form in places in the eastern regions. The minimum air temperature is expected to be +7…+12 degrees, but in places, mainly in the eastern regions, within +4…+7 degrees.

In Riga, the amount of clouds will be low on Monday night and precipitation is not expected. A slow southeast wind will blow, and the minimum air temperature will be +10…+12 degrees.
