On Monday, at a press conference, Minister of Internal Affairs Vit Rakušan confirmed the connection of these agents with the attempt to poison former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal six years ago.

Although the names of the organizers are not named in the police statement, in a conversation with Czech Radio, the head of the external intelligence service, Michal Koudelka, said that the main responsible are Russian military intelligence officers Anatoliy Chepiga and Aleksandr Myshkin.

The report of the Czech investigators states that the special unit of the Russian military intelligence service no. 29155, whose tasks include carrying out diversionary activities outside the borders of Russia.

A statement from the Czech police indicated that a decision was made to postpone further consideration of the case. The suspects are currently in Russia. Moreover, these national authorities have refused to cooperate with the Czech Republic and provide the necessary information.
