If the European Parliament (EP) elections were held tomorrow, the National Union (NA), which is currently supported by 11.9% of voters, would collect the most votes, according to a survey conducted by the SKDS research center commissioned by the “Delfi” portal.

In the party ranking for the EP elections in April, NA was followed by “Jaunā vietība” (JV), for which 7.5% of respondents planned to vote, and “Saskaņa” with 6.9% support. Compared to the survey in March, the first three have lost voter support, while JV and “Saskaņa” have changed places in the rating. In March, 12.7% of surveyed voters were ready to vote for NA, 8.9% for “Saskaņu”, and 8.7% for JV.

In the April poll, 6.6% of respondents expressed support for “Progressives”, 4.9% for “Latvija first” party (LPV), 4.3% for “United list” (AS), “Stability!” – 3.8%, and “Latvijas täväsä” (LA) – 3.2% of the respondents. Compared to the data of the March survey, support for the “Progressives” has increased, supported by 5.7% of respondents a month ago, but the number of voters has slightly decreased for LPV, for which 5.1% were ready to vote before. In March, 4.1% supported “Stability”, LA – 4%, and AS – 3.8%.

If the EP elections were held in April, 2.6% would vote for “Sovereign Power” (SV), 2.5% for the Green and Peasant Union (ZZS), 1.7% for the New Conservative Party (JKP), “Young Latvians of Unions” ” (AJ) – 1.1%, Center Party (CP) – 1.1%, “People’s Power” (TVS) – 0.8%, for Movement “For!” (“For!”) – 0.8% and for “People. Land. Statehood” (TZV) – 0.4%

On the other hand, in March, 2.5% were ready to vote for SV, 2.3% for ZZS, 1.6% for JKP, 1.5% for CP, “Par!” – 0.8%, for AJ – 0.7%, for TVS – 0.4%, and for TZV – 0.2%.

In April, 21.5% of respondents found it difficult to say who they would vote for in the EP elections, while 18.4% admitted that they would not participate in the elections. Compared to the survey in March, the number of both those who find it difficult to say their possible choice and the number of eligible voters who have decided not to participate in the election has increased.
