Vancouver “Canucks” situation with the goalkeepers in the first round of the Stanley Cup of the National Hockey League (NHL) was quite difficult, because the two leading goaltenders were kicked out of the lineup, but the Latvian Artūrs Shilovs kept calm under high tension, took advantage of his opportunity and helped the team to reach the second round. The coaches are still evaluating who to entrust with goal security in the series against the Edmonton Oilers, known for their high-powered offense.

Viss būs tieši tāpat, kā ierasts,” sacīja Tokets, kurš turpināja veltīt atzinīgus vārdus Šilovam. “Parasti, kad puišiem pasaku, ka būs jāspēlē, tad viņi kļūst saspringtāki. Vai bija jāpaliek rezervē, vai jādodas laukumā pamatsastāvā, Šilovs palika nemainīgs. Man tas patīk.”
