The Latvian hockey team continues its preparations for the world championship. Today, Swedish vice-champion Rofrigo Abols joined the team. Matīss Timofejevs attended the training of the national team.

“Rogle” represented by Rodrigo Ābola lost to Mārtiņas Dzierkalas in the finals of the Swedish Championship.

Swedish champion Mārtiņš Dzierkals joined the national team on Friday. Today, Mārtiņš trained in exactly the same forward trio with Abolas. Captain Kaspars Daugavins plays together with the Swedish finalists.

Andris Džeriņš is no longer training with the national team due to an injury. The coaches have decided that Rihards Marenis will not continue training with the national team.
