Iranian MMA fighter Ali Heibati was banned for life for kicking a ring girl during a match in Russia, according to a news release The Jerusalem Post.

An Iranian MMA fighter punched a ring girl in the rear during a match in Russia and was banned for life, reports Walla Sports.

Wrestler Ali Heibati took part in the fighting round of the leading Russian MMA Association (HFC) against Arkady Osifian in Moscow. After the two entered the ring, Heibati kicked the ring girl to announce the start of the first round. She became angry and turned to face the Iranian fighter before the referee rushed to intervene.

The fight began and Osifian attacked Heibati with vigor, eventually taking the TKO after only half a minute. Despite the referee’s intervention and the fact that the fight was over, the Iranian MMA fighter rose to his feet and attacked Ossifian while he had his back to Heibati.

Heibati’s teammates managed to restrain him, but he later tried to beat up a race official. Heibati’s behavior drew strong reactions from the crowd, and after he left the ring, some spectators close to him tried to punch him, even attacking him with a chair.

After the match, the Iranian wrestler posted a photo of the girl next to him in the ring with a vague apology. It did not work out and he will receive a lifetime disqualification.
