Dylan Larick scored 69 points (33+36) in 68 games for the Detroit Red Wings this season, while another forward, Matt Boldy, scored 69 (29+40) points in 75 games for the Minnesota Wild.
The U.S. will train in Slovakia’s capital, Bratislava, in preparation for the world championships starting May 5.
On May 7, the USA will play a test match against Slovakia, and on May 10, a meeting with Sweden is planned, the duel will be played in the Czech city of Ostrava.
This year, the world championship will take place in the Czech cities of Prague and Ostrava from May 10 to 26.
The USA national team will be the opponent of the Latvian national team in subgroup B in Ostrava, where Slovakia, Germany, Sweden, France, Kazakhstan and Poland will also play.
For the Latvian national team, the game against the USA will be in the final group tournament. Both teams competed in the bronze medal match of the world championship last year.
