From May 1, the new electricity net payment system will start operating in Latvia, which will be available to both households and companies that produce electricity. With its implementation, significant changes in electricity accounting and use will come into effect.

Līdz šim spēkā bija neto uzskaites sistēma, kas noteica, ka, ja mājsaimniecības kopējās elektrotīklā nodotās elektroenerģijas bija vairāk nekā no tīkla saņemtās, starpību varēja uzkrāt un izmantot, kad saražotās enerģijas apjoms ir mazāks, skaidro Klimata un enerģētikas ministrijas (KEM) pārstāvji.

Jaunā neto norēķinu sistēma ir vairāk balstīta tirgus principos, un būtiska atšķirība ir tā, ka saražotās elektroenerģijas pārpalikuma vērtība tiks uzskaitīta naudas izteiksmē, nevis kilovatstundās. Zaļās enerģijas ražotājs jaunajā sistēmā tiek definēts kā “aktīvais lietotājs”.

Turklāt līdz ar izmaiņām neto norēķinu sistēma būs pieejama ne tikai mājsaimniecībām, kā līdz šim, bet arī juridiskām personām.
