Weather forecaster Toms Bricis reports that the weather in Latvia will get warmer in the coming days.

The night on Saturday will still be cool, with the temperature dropping to 1…4 degrees in most parts of the country, in places in Vidzeme and Kurzeme in the north to -1 degree.

The day will be sunny, but in the afternoon larger cumulus clouds may bring short-term rain in some places, a thunderstorm is also possible in some parts of Kurzeme and in the central part of the country. The temperature will rise to 13…17 degrees, it will be cooler in places on the coast.

Sunday will pass completely without precipitation in the whole of Latvia. At night, the temperature will be 3…8 degrees, during the day the air will warm up to 16…21 degrees.

Winds on Sunday will be slow and changing direction, so in places along the coast you should expect that when the wind blows from the water side, the temperature can only be around 10 degrees and thick, cold fog can come from the sea. In such conditions, it usually touches the coastal strip, no further than a few hundreds of meters or about kilometers from the sea.

At the beginning of the new week, dry and sunny weather will continue, the temperature in most parts of Latvia will exceed 20 degrees.
