Before the third game of the “play-off”, Al Horford, a player of the National Basketball Association (NBA) team, Boston Celtics, expressed confidence that Kristaps Porzingis will demonstrate a more successful performance than in the second match of the series.

It has already been announced that the Celtics lost to the Miami Heat 101-111 on Thursday night, tying the Eastern Conference first-round series at 1-1. This game turned out to be completely unsuccessful for Porzingis, who scored six points, making only one of nine shots from the game, including the “Celtics”, when the Latvian was on the court, lost with -30.

The “Heat” basketball players played very aggressively against Porzingis in defense, often not allowing the Latvian to receive the ball even in attacks, but as the experienced Horford pointed out, the “Celtics” attack should be better in the next matches, which, in his opinion, will also allow Porzingis to loosen up.

“Everything will be fine with KP. I think we will play more organized, which will also increase his chances. He too [otrajā spēlē] missed a few shots that would have allowed him to feel the game – that will definitely change in the next matches. I’m sure he’ll do well and play better,” Horford said.

The third game of the series between “Celtics” and “Heat” will take place in Miami on Sunday night at 1:00 Latvian time.

Porzingis: I will make sure that I am better in attack – there is no reason to overreact
