On Saturday, May 18, from 19:00 to 24:00 (see program), the International promotion “Night of Museums” will take place in Daugavpils and will offer a variety of activities that will be relevant for everyone.
Museum Night events will be held in Latvian museums and other tourist facilities for the 20th time. This year, the theme of Museum Night is “Explore and Acquire, Research and Understand”. The theme also resonates with the motto of the International Museum Day on May 18, “Museums for education and research”, emphasizing the important role of cultural institutions in promoting education, knowledge and understanding of cultural processes, emphasizing the invaluable contribution of museums to society.
14 tourist attractions, educational institutions and associations will invite you to explore the charm of the night of museums in Daugavpils. Those interested in free events will have the opportunity to participate in various creative workshops, enjoy music and art, indulge in night walks and take advantage of all the special offers of “Museum Night”.
