Two drunk young people did not want to wait for public transport, so they chose another form of transport to get from Imanta to Ziepniekalna, reports “Degpunktā”.
The truck passed the law enforcement crew, and the officers immediately noticed that someone else was being transported in the back of the trailer without logs. While following the “fury”, the police officers noticed two young people. Both were clinging to the timber and risking their safety and the safety of those around them.
“We just wanted to leave… Excuse me, please! We’re just drunk. Excuse me please!” The boys understood their offense and at least tried to repent in the presence of the law enforcement officers.
The essence of the violation was explained to the young people, that it is not safe for their own lives and also for other road users. At the same time, the driver of the heavy vehicle was also spoken to, who admitted that he did not notice that someone was attached to his load and was driving along. Each of the young people was fined 100 euros.
