Latvia’s largest educational organization “Junior Achievement Latvia” and the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia in cooperation with “Swedbank” organized the annual event for young entrepreneurs, which has already become a tradition, in Jūrmala on April 29-30 – the final of Latvian school-based enterprises.

This year, more than 1,500 student learning companies have been registered in the Student Learning Company Program, of which more than 100 companies applied for the finals, while the best 20 student learning companies in the group of secondary schools and 11 in the group of primary schools were selected.

In the final high school group, the Ventspils State 1st Gymnasium and 4th Secondary School students’ learning company “Cameron”, which is run by Paulis Jēkabsons, Gustavs Zviedrītis and Jānis Neimanis.

Considering that the sensor of the phone’s back-mounted camera, to which a lens can be attached, is as large as that of professional cameras, the image quality is also comparable to that of professional cameras.

In the finals, the boys proved their abilities by receiving the Banking University’s sympathy award and a 50% discount for the first year of study at Banki University, Liepaja city’s sympathy award, as well as the Leadership award and the opportunity to participate in the Junior Achievement leadership camp.
