Residents are invited to attend events dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Latvia in Ventspils region.
on May 3 at the Puze Culture House at At 1:30 p.m., a concert by the students of the Ugāle Music School will begin, later at At 18.00, the festive event “White tablecloth – an honor”, the amateur theater “And so further” performs with the play “An old tale about amber”, the folklore group “Sītava” also participates. The events also continue on May 4. on the stage of Ances Park at At 12:00, the freedom festival “Rakstiņš pie raksiņa” will be held, the Ugāle folklore group “Urdava” will take part, an exhibition of gloves made by the Ances handicraft group “Paukers” will be on display. In case of bad weather, the event will be moved to the Ances Culture House.

on May 4 at At 13.00, Masaki Nakagawa will visit the meeting house “Mazā Vinda” with a concert, after the concert there will be a celebration of the opening of the meeting house “Mazā Vinda”, lunch and a festive picnic. on May 4 at the Pilten Culture House at At 15.00 there will be a concert on the Independence Day of the Republic of Latvia, in which Piltene Music School, Piltene Elementary School, Piltene Library, Piltene Culture House collectives and VPDK “Strautuguns” will take part, there will be an opportunity to see the works of textile artist Janas Gruntmanes. On May 4, at Ugale town hall “Gaisma” at At 16.00, the amateur groups of the Ugāle Folk House, students of the Ugāle Music and Art School and the children’s vocal ensemble “Poppiņš” will take part in the festive concert. Free entrance.
