Musician, poet, doctor Inga Dirveika, who lost her battle with oncology, has passed away, writes the organization “Let’s help each other”.
As the saying goes, “Let’s help each other”, Inga was full of hope and strength until her last breath.
“Inga Dirveika – musician, poet, doctor, was an angel of kindness in our organization, who refused help to no one. In 2015, like lightning from a clear sky, the news of a serious diagnosis reached Inga. Oncological disease in stage 3. Inga was determined to win this battle …
She wanted to be a wonderful mother, a beloved wife, as well as a friend, support for those people who are in difficult life situations. That was the Inga we knew and loved very much. At a time when finances were needed for the fight, thousands of people got involved in Inga’s story. Everyone believed that Inga would recover, that cancer at this stage was defeatable. We organized two almost 30-hour long charity marathons, during which the donated funds were dedicated to improving Inga’s health. We believed from the bottom of our hearts that we would all be able to win this battle together. But the miracle did not happen…
Inga will always live in our memories as a special person with a big heart. No matter how difficult it was for herself, she was always ready to help everyone! In Inga’s eyes, every person had value, hundreds of her patients who received the best medical care can attest to that. Inga’s sincerity and compassion were immeasurable. Behind the gentle soul was a woman of steel who loved to ride a motorcycle .. She loved life so much.”
