Most of the songs included in the album were created in the band’s camps already in 2020, and since then the record has been gradually polished, simultaneously introducing the listeners to several tracks from the album. Songs published so far Nowhere to go, morning, morning, morning, morning, morning, morning together with Kristini Paži and this spring as well memory water, whose video is authored by band member Elvijs Pārpucis.
“We experience our time and place as an excursion, which has lost its guide, its map halfway, and there are no clear directions. The writing of the album and the process of its recording quite literally became a refuge with a clear order of things and in the end it is like a place and an era selfie through Time dog filter,” says group leader Arnis Rachinskis about the new album.
The album will also be released in vinyl format with a design by band member Jānis Burmeisters. Vinyl records will be available to listeners for the first time at the band’s concert Palladium Riga on May 24. This concert will be bands Time dog the most ambitious event to date. An evening full of high-voltage energy in the heart of the city, accompanied by the new album Imitation the audience’s favorite hits will also be played for the premiere of the songs Spring, Some of the girls, Remember Riga in the summer nights, Let’s beat the windows and others. Special guests are also expected at the concert.
