During three days, the teams of young people born in 2007 will compete to find out the strongest Baltic champion team among the champions of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Finland.

So far, the youth champions of Lithuania and Finland have been determined. Lithuania will be represented in the tournament by the boys’ team “SC Dubysa” from Šiauliai and the girls’ team “Kauno Raj SM”, while Finland will be represented by the boys’ team “Grankulla IFK” and the girls’ team “HIFK”. On the other hand, the boys’ team “Põlva SK” and the girls’ team “HC Kehra” will participate in the cup competition from Estonia.

The Latvian U-17 champions were determined last Friday in Murjāņi, where in the battle between the young people of Dobele Sports School and Ludza District Sports School, the people of Ludz won (39:35). As we previously informed, the Jēkabpils Sporta school team became the Latvian youth champions in handball in the U17 age group for girls in a five-team competition, but in the intense battle for silver, the Salaspils Sporta school team beat the Dobel women by three goals.
