During this year’s May holidays – May 1, 4 and 6 – there will be changes in 467 regional bus routes throughout Latvia. ATD invites citizens to check the current bus schedule before each trip on the website www.atd.lv in the “Timetables” section or in the “Traffic” section of the 1188 portal.
Changes are expected in the routes where public transport services are provided by 14 carriers: AS “Nordeka”, SIA “Norma-A”, AS “CATA”, SIA “VTU Valmiera”, AS “Liepājas busu parks”, AS “Talsu autotransports”, SIA ” Latvijas Sabiedriskais Autobuss”, SIA “Tukuma auto”, PSIA “Ventspils reiss”, SIA “Daugavpils busu parks”, SIA “Dautrans”, JSC “Rēzeknes busu park”, SIA “Ludza autotransporta umensos” and SIA “Gulbenes autobuss”.
ATD reminds that on May 4, all holders of the “Honorable Family” card can travel on regional buses and trains for free – each passenger must present his “Honorable Family” card and an identity document or student’s ID card. The documents must be with you not only at the time of purchasing the ticket, but also during the trip.
ATD invites passengers to always take a ticket for their trip on regional public transport. Statistics on flight requests are made up of the number of tickets issued to passengers. Passengers can report detected violations of ticket sales to the directorate controllers around the clock by sending a text message or calling by phone 27776621 (answering machine).
